Hi! I’m Shima, a visiting PhD researcher from Canada currently living in Rotterdam. I grew up around animals—mostly cats—and have cared for friends’ dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m calm, gentle, and patient, and I love spending time with pets, whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet company.

Here’s what my care looks like:

• Dog walks: relaxed, attentive walks based on your dog’s pace and energy level. I avoid stressful environments and always keep a close eye on safety and comfort.

• Drop-in visits: feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning, playtime, cuddles, and a quick check of your home environment. I stay as long as needed so your pet doesn’t feel rushed.

• Overnight stays: calm companionship, sticking closely to your pet’s routine, evening and morning care, and keeping your home tidy.

• Communication: I send regular photo/video updates and short notes so you always know how your pet is doing.

Your pet’s wellbeing and emotional comfort come first, and I always adapt to their unique personality. Looking forward to creating a positive, stress-free experience for both of you!
