My journey with cats started long before I became a catsitter. Twelve years ago, I started an independent rescue project in my hometown in Brazil (@gatosanonimosfloripa) dedicated to helping stray cats. Since then, I’ve been involved in rescuing, rehabilitating, sterilising, treating and finding loving homes for more than 5.000 cats.

My knowledge doesn’t come only from experience, over the years I’ve studied feline behaviour, health, welfare and ethical handling, and I continue to do so because cat care is constantly evolving. The more I learn, the better I can care for the cats entrusted to me.

Every cat is different, some will want to play, some will hide under the bed, and some will pretend I don’t exist until snack time. My job is to respect their personality, understand their body language, and adapt my approach to what makes them feel comfortable.

Catsitting is much more than feeding your cat and cleaning the litter box. During every visit I monitor their behaviour, appetite, litter box habits and overall wellbeing. Small changes can mean a lot, and having experience with thousands of cats helps me notice when something isn’t quite right.

I’m experienced with senior cats, kittens, multi-cat households, shy cats, fearful cats, post-operative care, wound care and administering medication. I always work at the cat’s pace, using low-stress and respectful handling.

While you’re away, you’ll receive plenty of photos, videos and detailed updates. As a cat mum myself, I know how difficult it is to leave them at home, so I want you to feel informed and reassured after every visit.

I also offer feline behaviour consultations. Whether you’re dealing with inappropriate scratching, litter box issues, introductions between cats or simply want to understand your cat better, I’d be happy to help.

I’m also happy to care for other pets! Over the years, I’ve looked after rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, snakes and lizards, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know different species. While every animal is unique, one thing never changes: I always take the time to learn about their specific needs and carefully follow your care instructions, so they can stick to their normal routine while you’re away.

And yes, I also offer dog walks! I’ve had dogs my entire life and have plenty of experience handling them. I’m confident walking dogs of different sizes and personalities, paying close attention to leash manners, safety, and making each walk enjoyable and stress-free for both your dog and everyone else we meet.
