Hi! I'm Tuğçe, 37, and I live in Zaandam.

I'm a software engineer by profession. I'm not working at the moment, which means I have all day for your pets — no rushing out in the morning, no leaving them alone for hours. They get company, walks and attention throughout the day.

My experience

I've been looking after my friends' dogs for years. When they go on holiday, their dogs stay with me — I feed them, walk them, play with them and keep their routine going. I've done this many times and I know how different every dog is: some need long walks, some are nervous around other dogs, some just want to be near you all day. I pay attention to what each one needs.

I can give medication if your pet needs it — just show me how and I'll follow your instructions carefully.

House sitting — what I offer

I stay in your home for the whole period, so your pets never have to adjust to a new place. Same bed, same smells, same routine. For many animals this is much less stressful than being moved somewhere else.

While I'm there I'll:

• Feed your pets and keep fresh water available
• Take dogs out for regular walks, usually 30-60 minutes depending on what they're used to
• Clean litter boxes and clean up after them
• Send you photos and updates so you know they're happy
• Water your plants, bring in the post and keep your home clean and secure
• Keep doors and windows locked, and leave your home exactly as I found it

Because I'm not working right now, I can be with your pets almost all the time. If I need to go out, it's short — I won't leave them alone for hours.

Availability

I'm available for stays from a few days up to a couple of months, and I'm flexible with dates. I don't smoke.
