Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a very cat-loving family, and since 2007 I have been fully and independently responsible for the daily care, health, and wellbeing of my own cats. I currently live with two adult cats, both former street rescues - one we brought with us from Armenia, the other from Serbia.

Living with cats for many years as the primary caregiver has given me a deep, practical understanding of their needs, personalities, and boundaries. I’m very comfortable with different temperaments and with building trust at a cat’s own pace.

I’m calm, reliable, and take commitments seriously. I care for cats in a thoughtful, unhurried way, always respecting their routines. For me, cat sitting is not just about tasks, but about making sure a cat feels safe and settled while their humans are away.

At the moment I’m on a sabbatical, which allows me to be fully present, punctual, and dependable.

Cat sitting fits well with my current life situation and offers a calm, meaningful rhythm that I value.

• Comfortable with all aspects of cat care, including:

1. feeding and fresh water

1. litter box cleaning
2. play, enrichment, and calm companionship
3. caring for cats when they are unwell, following veterinarian`s instructions
4. recognising when something is not right and veterinary attention may be needed

• Experience with kittens, including very young kittens that required frequent feeding and close attention
• Well-read on cat behaviour and communication, and attentive to individual signals

Please note: I’m happy to follow care routines and administer oral medication (tablets) when appropriate, but I do not give injections.

How do I work

I offer cat sitting home visits only (no overnight stays).

My preferred arrangement is two visits per day, each lasting 30 minutes, so cats can maintain their usual rhythm and feel consistently cared for.
If needed, I can also offer one longer visit per day (60 minutes).

I’m generally available between 9:00 and 20:00.
Being on a sabbatical allows for some flexibility with visit times, and by agreement we can choose timings that best suit your cat’s routine and needs.

During my visits, I:

• follow your cat’s established routine
• adapt to their personality (playful, independent, or shy)
• ensure food, water, litter, and general wellbeing are taken care of
• provide calm companionship and enrichment where appropriate
• send updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away
• treat your home with care and respect

By prior agreement, I can also:

• water plants
• bring in mail

A meet & greet in advance is always preferred, to ensure clear communication and a good fit - especially for your cat.
