Hi!

My name is Nándi I'm 23 and I'm from Hungary. I'm a student here in Maastricht and because of missing my dog too much I wanted to once again start dog sitting.

My experience with dogs goes back to the beginning of my life really. I've never known a time when my family didn't have a dog so they are one of the most integral part of my life.

Since around the age of 6 I also started to take care of them in a more regular manner. So giving them food, water and all the other basics. And then when I was strong enough and heavy enough not to be pulled into the air by them I was also allowed to go on walks with them :)

Usually my walks were a little different from the normal as I got tired of the same routines easily. So we usually went on big hikes in the forest and mountains or just found some new interesting path to follow. I still like to always try a new path with the dogs I take care of so they can also sniff new places and maybe make new friends.

5 years ago I started to do dog sitting next to taking care of my own one and have over the years gained experience with all types and sizes. For this reason I'm very flexible with the taking care of them, small or big, crazy active or couch potato I have taken care of them all at some point.

I also have a dog myself! He is the greatest and I miss him a lot ever since I had to leave him at my parents. This is also why I'm back to dog sitting because I miss him greatly and I always found that taking care of any dog will also make me feel closer to him. He is a very crazy one so I had to learn a lot of techniques and tricks to teach him and also to calm him down. Because of this I'm also comfortable with more "aggressive" dogs or the ones who just simply cannot control themselves. I also offer some basic teachings if you would ever need it!

As for the services, I can do dog walking of course. The time period usually doesn't matter to me so it can range from 15 minutes to around 2 hours. However that is just on weekends and Thursdays. The other weekdays I can only do up to an hour.

I can also come to your home and take care of them there, this includes the basics like giving food, water and then playtime! But giving medications, teaching them or grooming I'm also comfortable with. Next to this I can also take them on walks during each visit. Usually two visits a day is my limit on most days as I have a lot of school work.

House sitting is also something I offer which would basically be the same as house visits only I would stay for the night and of course it would be more walks, more playtime and whatever else you might require!

However if it's possible I rather have them at my place as I already know a lot of fun places for every type of personality close to my apartment. The apartment itself is around 55m2 with a terrace but no garden. That usually is not a problem as about 10 minutes away by foot there is a forest area and around 20-30 minutes away there is a huge field with a big hill (in dutch standards) where we can spend a whole day just hiking. But right next to my apartment there is a dog park if that is more what your dog likes and there are also multiple parks, as well as multiple dog parks in like a 10 minutes by foot range. So really I would feel safer in offering your dog the best time if they came to my place.
