Hello! My name is Kate. My husband and I moved to Amsterdam about a year ago from Saint Petersburg. I'm a clinical psychologist by training, and I have a flexible and fairly free schedule, so I would be happy to become a reliable friend to your pet while you're away.

I absolutely love animals and consider them full members of the family who need to be cared for and whose needs are important to understand and meet. I've had pets all my life: mice, guinea pigs, and finally, cats. I currently have three cats. My husband and I rescued two of them from the street, and we've been living together with them for 5 years now. We're so attached to them that we naturally brought them along when we moved to the Netherlands.

I would be happy to take care of your furry friends while you're away. I will spend time with them, play with them, feed them, and give them exactly the level of contact and attention they're comfortable with. If your pets are affectionate and social, I'll gladly cuddle and pet them, but if they're more reserved and need personal space, I will absolutely respect that and won't impose.

I'll be happy to send you photo updates during each visit so you can see how everything is going and how your pet is doing.

I live in the Amsterdam Zuid area but am willing to travel to other neighborhoods in Amsterdam.
