I am a caring and responsible pet sitter who truly enjoys spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals and my belief that pets deserve attentive, patient, and respectful care in their own environment and routines.

I have previous hands-on experience caring for my friends’ cats while they were abroad. During these periods, I was responsible for feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playing with them, and providing companionship and comfort. I also volunteered at animal welfare organisations in Hong Kong, including Lifelong Animal Protection Charity (LAP) and Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR), where I assisted with daily care duties such as cleaning and dog walking. Through these experiences, I learned how to adapt my approach to different pet personalities, from shy or cautious animals who need patience and quiet interaction, to more active and playful ones who enjoy engagement and exercise.

In addition, I obtained a Pet First Aid and Emergency Care (PETFA) certificate from the Hong Kong St John Ambulance in December 2025. This training helps me stay alert to changes in behaviour or health and respond calmly and appropriately if an unexpected situation arises. During dog walks, I prioritise safety by following owners’ instructions closely, using secure leashes, choosing appropriate walking routes, and paying attention to the surroundings at all times.

I am both a cat and a dog person, and I am happy to follow specific routines such as feeding schedules, medication instructions, and preferred play or rest times. I respect each pet’s individual boundaries and personality, while also being ready to engage in energetic play, games, or interactive activities when they enjoy it. I am also open to caring for other small animals, provided clear guidance is given.

Due to rental agreements, I am unable to offer pet care in my own home, but I am very happy to provide home visits, dog walking, and house sitting so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. For house sitting, I currently prefer and prioritize bookings of up to 14 days, but feel free to reach out for longer stays and we can always discuss what is possible. For bookings that involve longer distances, especially when travel by public transport such as trains is needed, I kindly ask for reimbursement of travel costs. 

I believe clear communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos during each visit. As I am also enthusiastic about photography, I am happy to share high-quality photo updates so you can feel reassured while you are away.
