About me: I am passionate about animals. In the past, I have pet sat for dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, lizards, hedgehogs, rats, mice, a tortoise, birds and a snake and own a dog myself (and have previously had cats and a hamster). I have a deep interest in exotic pets, especially snakes, and am well versed in caring for reptiles, although I have never owned one myself (I am hoping to in the future though). The photos you can see of me with animals on my profile include me with my (mum's) 2 cats, along with some more exotic animals. When I go travelling, I often try to find native animals, and those photos are mostly taken in nature preserves. Another thing to note about me is that I am on the autism spectrum. Due to this my social skills aren't great and I often come across as a bit "weird" in initial meets- I am perfectly capable of caring for your animals though! As I do not have a car, animals I visit in your home must be within Cambridge (CB1-5), with Milton and Fulbourn considered outside of peak times.

Dogs: I am happy to care for dogs of any size and breed, and have previously looked after many large dogs. I can care for dogs at my house provided that they get along with my dog. I am able to provide visits or overnight/live in care for dogs at your house. For overnight stays I would preferably bring my dog with me, but this can be addressed on an individual basis. Services can be provided at any time of day. A typical visit would include feeding your pet, changing their water, taking them outside to use the toilet, and also playing with them for up to 30mins. I am able to brush your pet if required. I tend to only accept weekend house sits at the moment due to my work commitments, however I will consider it during the week depending on your location and how long your dog can be left for.

Cats: I am happy to care for all cats, including those with medical problems. Due to having a dog of my own, I am unable to care for cats in my house (unless they love dogs- mine just wants to play with cats!). I am able to provide visits or overnight/live in care at your house. Services can be provided at any time of day. A typical visit would include feeding your pet, changing their water, and engaging with them for up to 30mins as they allow. I can brush your cat if this is required.

Small mammals and reptiles: Any pet kept inside an enclosue I am able to keep at my house. I have a dog at home, who will be kept separated from them whilst I am out of the house and will also be shut out of the room if your animal is out of their enclosure. I live in a non-smoking house. If you would prefer to keep the animal in your house and for me to provide visits, this is also possible, though it would be preferred for them to stay with me. I have previously cared for hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, gerbils and a bird at my place, and would love to be able to have a reptile stay with me in the future. There are plenty of plug points available in the room and I have a plug in timer available should your animal need a light cycle, heat, or similar. They will get a minimum of 15mins out of cage/handling time every day, unless they are not a holdable animal. If you wish for your animal to stay with me, I require them to be dropped off in most instances, as I do not have a car.

Other animals: If you have an animal not listed here, I'm probably happy to care for it, as I'm comfortable around almost all animals. Generally, if an animal is in an enclosure, you can refer to the "small mammals and reptiles" section for information, and if they are free roamed, you can refer to the "cats" section.
