Hallo! My name is Lindi, and I am a responsible and caring person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I work full-time in finance, and I am looking for pet sitting as a meaningful and relaxing way to spend my free time while helping pet owners feel at ease when they are away.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for animals and my understanding of how important pets are to their families. I know it can be stressful to leave a pet behind, so I focus on being reliable, attentive, and following each pet’s routine closely so they feel safe and comfortable.

I have previous professional experience with both pet sitting and babysitting in South Africa, where I developed strong responsibility, patience, and trustworthiness in caring for others. 😊

I am comfortable caring for shy or anxious pets and always take a calm, gentle approach, giving them time to adjust and feel safe. In case of emergencies, I stay calm, follow owner instructions, and contact the owner or a vet immediately if needed. I am also comfortable caring for multiple pets at the same time and ensuring each one gets individual attention.

For dog walks, I usually take relaxed walks of 30–60 minutes depending on the dog’s energy level and needs. During visits or sleepovers, I follow feeding routines carefully, provide fresh water, clean up after pets, give them attention and playtime, and ensure they feel secure in their environment. I also provide regular updates for peace of mind (expect lots of photos and videos from me ! 📸)

I am generally available on weekdays in the evenings and more flexible on weekends. I only take vaccinated pets into my home to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all animals.
