Hello! My name is Steffie and I’m an animal lover originally from Greece, now living in Zoeterwoude with my husband. Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I had a German Shepherd named Champ, and over the years my family also cared for cats, hamsters, rabbits, canaries, and goldfish. This experience helped me understand the needs and personalities of many different pets.

I also have several years of experience with pet sitting in Greece, where I regularly helped friends, neighbours, and local pet owners care for their pets while they were away. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals and the joy I get from spending time with them and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for.

I offer dog sitting in my home and home visits. During home visits I can feed pets, refresh their water, clean litter boxes or cages if needed, provide playtime and attention, and administer basic medication if required.

For dog sitting, I usually host only one booking at a time so I can give dogs my full attention and maintain a calm environment. If you have two dogs from the same household who are used to staying together, I’m happy to accommodate them as well. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I make sure dogs receive plenty of interaction, companionship, and care during their stay.

I work partly from home and partly from the office during the week, but I organise my schedule so guest pets are well looked after and comfortable.

Our home is calm, safe, and pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome in the living areas and can sleep in a comfortable place where they feel secure. I live with my husband in a quiet household, and we both enjoy having animals around. I only accept vaccinated pets to ensure a healthy and safe environment.

I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will always care for them with patience, attention, and affection—just like I would with my own. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel relaxed knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you are away.
