I’m 32 and I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 3 years old. I basically grew up learning how to understand them and their different personalities. In many ways dogs are a lot like people: they all share similarities, but every single one is different in their own special way 😁

Over the years I became more and more passionate about dogs and naturally started learning a lot about them. During university I began dogsitting for a few friends, and little by little it became something people regularly relied on me for. Nowadays many friends and colleagues trust me with their dogs when they want to enjoy a well-deserved holiday, knowing their pets will be safe, comfortable, and well cared for with me.

I can work from home, so I’m able to spend a lot of time with the dogs I look after. They’re rarely alone, and if I need to go out for a bit, it’s never for too long and never overnight.
Over the years I’ve built experience with many different kinds of dogs: small and big, young and older, very energetic or more relaxed. 

I usually go for 2 or 3 walks a day depending on the dog and their energy level, and of course your instructions. The most common schedule would be one longer walk and a couple of shorter ones. Besides that, there’s playtime, relaxing together, feeding, cuddles, and just keeping them company during the day 😊

I try to follow the dog’s normal daily routine as much as possible because I know they feel better when things stay familiar. And of course I always keep owners updated with messages and photos, because I know how important it is to know your dog is doing well while you’re away.

For me this is obviously a responsibility, but also something I genuinely enjoy. Spending time with dogs has always made me happy, and my goal is simply to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while they’re with me 😊
