Hi, I am Tanja, currently studying at the UVA and looking for pets to give love to!

My whole life I have had a passion and love for animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up taking care of rabbits and a cat at home and walking my neighbours dogs in my free time. Last summer, I volunteered full time in 2 different dog shelters for a total of 2 months. This amazing experience taught me a lot about dogs and their behaviour in different situations. It also gave me the confidence that I am able to deal with animals with lots of different personalities, needs and backgounds :)

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes mostly from my love for animals and therefore wanting to spend as much time as possible with them! I also moved out from home recently and just miss having animals around me. Since my current situation as a student doesn't allow for me to have a pet myself, I find pet sitting an amazing opportunity to spend time with animals and to help out someone else at the same time :)

 I am more than happy to learn about your pet and to adjust to their preferences and little/big personalities! To me there is nothing more important than that your pet feels safe and calm around me, and that we are having fun! Therefore, please don't hesitate to tell me everything that you feel is important, so that I can adjust acordingly and your pet can have the best time possible with me :)
