Hello there!! I’m Azul (30), originally from Uruguay and happily living in the Netherlands since 2022! 🇺🇾☀️

I’ve been caring for pets in Amsterdam for over 5 years, and spending time with animals has always been one of my greatest joys.

After losing my best friend Elvis, it took me a little while to feel ready to welcome dogs into my life again. Now, I’m so happy to be surrounded by them once more, getting to know each one’s unique personality. ❤️

I work as a barista in a lovely café in Oost and enjoy a cozy, quiet life in Diemen with my partner Michele, who loves animals just as much as I do. ☕️

I’m also into photography, so yes, you’ll probably receive some lovely portraits of your pup as a little gift from me! 📸

I offer house sitting, doggy day care and dog walking in Amsterdam and Diemen.

I’m most comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs, but I’m happy to discuss larger dogs depending on their personality and needs.

🏠 House Sitting

Your dog gets to stay in their familiar environment, enjoying their usual comforts and routines while you’re away.

I’m also happy to water your plants and help with small household tasks. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as my own! 🪴

🐶 Doggy Day Care

Your pup is welcome to spend the day at my home in Diemen, depending on my availability. Just message me with the hours you need!

🐕 Dog Walking

From relaxed sniffing strolls to longer, energetic walks, I’ll happily adapt to your dog’s pace and preferences.

📅 SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

I work five days a week, usually from 9 AM to 5 PM, although some days I finish around 3 PM. My workplace is just 7 minutes from home, so I can often be flexible with nearby bookings.

I also have two full days off each week!

For house sitting, I can spend time with your dog in the morning before work and return around 5 PM (sometimes as early as 3 PM) to enjoy the rest of the day together.

Since I work during the day, it’s important that your dog is comfortable being home alone during those hours. I’d love to know how they usually manage when their humans are at work, so we can make sure it’s a good fit!

Doggy day care availability depends on my work schedule, so we can always chat about what works best.

❤️ WHAT YOUR DOG CAN EXPECT

Lots of love, patience and genuine companionship!

Whether it’s long walks, plenty of cuddles (if they’re into that!) or simply relaxing together at home, I always adapt to each dog’s personality and pace.

Some dogs love exploring the outdoors, while others are happiest curled up on the couch. I’m more than happy with both!

I’ll keep in touch throughout the booking with regular photos and little updates, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for.

🐶 BEFORE BOOKING

I always like to learn about your dog’s personality, energy level, daily routine, feeding, walks, sleeping habits and how they get along with people and other dogs.

Please also let me know about any allergies, medication, medical conditions, fears or special needs.

Please feel free to be completely honest about any behavioural challenges, such as separation anxiety, excessive barking, reactivity or difficulties around other dogs or people. No judgement at all! I simply want to understand your dog’s needs and make sure I can provide the best possible care.

For longer house-sitting stays, I prefer to arrange a quick meet & greet beforehand whenever possible.

🕒 BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS

I like to agree on arrival, drop-off and pick-up times before confirming a booking.

For overnight stays, please let me know your expected arrival and departure times. If your booking starts particularly early or finishes late, we can discuss any additional hours of care in advance.

This helps me plan properly and makes everything easier for both of us!
