Hi, I'm Nahuel Venanzetti! Originally from Uruguay, I'm currently living in Amsterdam as part of a Working Holidays experience. My love for animals, especially dogs, has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. In 2007, my family and I welcomed a dog into our home, who became my closest companion. Sadly, she passed away recently, while I’ve been here in Amsterdam. It’s been difficult being away from her, but this loss has deepened my desire to stay connected to animals and offer them the care and love they deserve.

Becoming a pet sitter is more than just a job for me—it's a way to honor the bond I had with my own dog and to bring comfort and joy to other pets. I have years of experience caring for dogs, from daily walks to ensuring they are safe and loved. In Amsterdam, I’m eager to bring this experience to the local pet community by offering dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight care.

About My Services

I offer a variety of services tailored to meet the needs of your pet. My dog walks typically last 30-60 minutes, depending on your pet's energy level and needs, and I can offer up to two walks per day. I also provide pet sitting services, where I ensure that your dog is never left alone for more than 3 hours during boarding and no longer than 1 hour during daycare. I’m committed to spending quality time with your pet, ensuring they are always comfortable, safe, and happy.

If your pet requires medication, I am experienced in administering both oral and topical treatments. While I don’t offer formal training or grooming services, I can help reinforce any training routines you have in place. For boarding, I limit the number of dogs to ensure personalized care and attention, typically taking care of only one dog at a time unless they are from the same household.

What My Home Is Like

I live with two Italian roommates in a cozy, pet-friendly apartment on the ground floor of a quiet neighborhood in Amsterdam (Bijlmer). Our home has a private backyard, providing a secure and convenient space for your dog to enjoy some fresh air and playtime. Additionally, we have direct access to a lovely little park right in front of our building, perfect for quick walks or a bit of outdoor relaxation. We’re also less than 100 meters from Nelson Mandela Park, a beautiful area with plenty of greenery and a more natural, less urban environment. This makes it an ideal spot for longer walks and exploration. In my home, guest pets are allowed to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether it’s on a cozy bed I provide or their own bed that you bring along.
