My name is Matilde, I'm 24 years old and from Portugal. I've lived with dogs my whole life, so life without a dog makes no sense to me. I have my own dog, Amália who unfortunately is still in Portugal . Having my own dog led me to doing research into dog training and dog behavior, which quickly turned into a life passion.

Besides my own dogs, I've had a lot of experience through volunteering at a shelter in Lisbon for 2 years, along with regular pet sitting. Since living in Amsterdam, I've worked at a doggy daycare and a dog walking service, where I would walk up to 10 dogs off leash, so I'm used to handling very high stress situations with dogs :)

Overall, I have a lot of knowledge in dog training and behavior. I have experience with all kinds of dogs, including reactive and more challenging dogs. I always try to understand the dog and what is causing their behavior and try to help them with their feelings. 

I feel like there's no better way to spend my time than with dogs, so hopefully I can hang out with yours 😁
