Hi! I’m Christina, and I live in Zeist with my partner and our wonderful five-year-old chocolate Labrador, Mocha. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, I honestly can’t remember a time when there wasn’t one in our home. Growing up, our family dogs were like siblings to me, and now Mocha is very much my furry child.

I joined Pawshake for two simple reasons: I absolutely love spending time with dogs, and as a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find someone you truly trust when you need to be away. I want to provide the kind of care and peace of mind that I would want for my own dog. At the moment I’m between jobs, which means I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention, love, and care they deserve.

I have experience with both small and medium-to-large dogs, from 10 kg family dogs to my 30 kg Labrador. I’ve also looked after neighbours’ dogs and friends’ cats, and I’m comfortable caring for puppies. While I don’t yet have experience with senior dogs, dogs with medical needs, or reactive dogs, I’m always honest about what I can confidently offer.

I currently provide dog walking, doggy daycare, home visits, and house sitting. I always adapt my care to your dog’s normal routine because I know how important consistency is. My own dog enjoys at least two 30–40 minute walks every day, and if your dog would be happier walking separately from Mocha, I’m more than happy to do that.

We live in a first-floor apartment with no garden, but we’re surrounded by lovely parks and green spaces for walks and playtime. My partner works from home, and I’m currently available throughout the day, so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. For daycare, I ask that dogs are vaccinated and friendly with other dogs, as they’ll be sharing the space with Mocha. We always arrange a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good match.

Every dog has their own personality, and I believe the best care comes from respecting that. Whether your dog is playful, cuddly, or needs a little extra time to settle in, I’ll let them go at their own pace while making them feel safe and loved. I’m also happy to send as many photo and video updates as you’d like, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is having a great time. We also have a car if transport is ever needed.
