Hi loved pet owners!
I love animals in general and I always feel happy and relaxed when I am around them. Spending time with pets, giving them attention, cuddles, and care is something that truly brings me joy. I especially love their sweet, loving nature, their loyalty, and the special bond you can build with them.

I also enjoy practicing basic commands and small training exercises. It is very satisfying to see progress, even in small steps, and I like giving dogs both mental and physical activity.

Over the years, I have often taken care of dogs and cats for friends and colleagues, sometimes for multiple weeks in a row. For example, I looked after Appa, a 3-year-old Swiss Shepherd, who is very active and full of love and loyalty. I also took care of Otis, a 4-year-old Labradoodle, who is calmer and loves cuddles all day long. Because I have experience with different personalities and energy levels, I enjoy adapting to what each pet needs.

I live next to Marlot Park in The Hague, which is a great location for dog walks and outdoor time. I also enjoy taking dogs on longer walks through Meijendel towards the beach, as it is one of the nicest natural areas near The Hague.

My apartment is spacious, around 80 m2, so pets have plenty of room to rest and feel at home. Since I am an active person who enjoys cycling, climbing, nature, and being outdoors, I am a great match for dogs that like to be active too.

For dogs that are calm and well-trained, it can sometimes also be possible for them to join me at my office, where there are often other dogs around.

One of my motivations for pet sitting is that I would love to have a pet of my own, because I really enjoy having animals around me. At the same time, my work sometimes requires me to travel, usually around twice a year for multiple weeks, and I also like the freedom to make spontaneous trips now and then. For me, pet sitting is the perfect combination: I get to enjoy the company, love, and loyalty of animals, while not having the full-time responsibility of owning a pet myself.

My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy, and to give them a fun and caring time with me.
