As I write my dissertation, I am looking to help pet owners by sitting their lovely pets. I am originally from Costa Rica, so I speak Spanish, English en een betjee Nederland. I am studying Dutch at almost a B2 level. I have lived and studied in Poland, Spain, and the US. I am in my final year of my Phd at Utrecht Univeristy, and still loving it! I've always had pets myself, but I haven't since I moved to the NL. Petsitting is a way of staying close to them and re-charge my pet battery. I have done petsitting through Facebook in the US, NL, and England, and I am pet aunty to my friends here. I love all animals and consider them great companions. They deserve all the love and respect we can offer them. I personally prefer small to medium size dogs because we, my partner and I, live in an apartment. I love cats! But I prefer petsitting dogs as they have a tendency to adapt faster to new environments.
