Taking care of others is a big part of my nature. I love nurturing and appreciate the company that not only people but pets can offer. Growing up on an island (Vlieland) I was surrounded by wildlife, we had a pyrenean mountain dog so big he was practically a polar bear. I lived in nature and animals were always our equals.

When we moved to the mainland, I was out playing tennis with my mom when I kept hearing a high pitched screech. I couldn't ignore it and abandoned the court to scout the surroundings. I found a little kitten dropped in a bag in the woods, fostered him back to health and gave him a new home.

Studying brought me a challenge, because I wasn't able to have pets, so I started pet sitting for friends and neighbours, watching their homes and furfriends for summers, weeks, or days. Bonding with them since they were little.

My partner just came back from travelling through South America, we wish to travel the world together helping those less fortunate and sharing the stories of the beautiful people we meet along the way. We love animals but our plans to travel don't allow us to make that permanent commitment. Watching pets has given us the opportunity to enjoy that connection and we have had the best time so far with all the pets we have had the pleasure to care for :). If possible we would appreciate being allowed to care for your pets together- but of course there is no issue if you prefer that I come alone.

We/I love exploring nature and cooking so playing with your pets, going for walks, hikes, adventures if needed and considering special diets is no issue but only extra fun!
