About me

I’m Elisabeth, originally from the Netherlands and soon to be based in Paris. I’ve been pet sitting since 2016, mostly caring for cats in their own homes, and over the years I’ve also gained plenty of experience with dogs.

I’ve always loved being around animals and grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits and even hamsters. I don’t currently have a pet of my own, so pet sitting has become a lovely way for me to still have animals in my life, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each of their different personalities.

I work remotely, which makes me especially flexible for house sitting. I can work from your home and spend plenty of time with your pet rather than leaving them alone for long stretches.

• Previously shared the care of a chocolate Labrador for almost two years
• Comfortable with shy or independent cats, energetic dogs and older pets who need a little extra attention

What I offer

House sitting / overnight stays
I stay in your home so your pet can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings. As I work remotely, I can keep them company throughout much of the day, with walks, playtime, feeding and plenty of attention.

Drop-in visits
I’m also happy to visit your pet at home for feeding, playtime, walks, litter changes, medication where appropriate, or simply some company.

For dogs, I love long walks and am happy to adapt the length and pace to their age, energy level and usual routine.

I’ll also send regular photo updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. And, of course, I treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own.

If needed, I can also accompany your pet to the vet.

I speak Dutch, English and German, and I’m currently learning French. 🇳🇱 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇫🇷

Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, relaxed and loved while you’re away. I’d be very happy to meet you and your furry companion beforehand to make sure we’re a good match.
