Hi, My name is Zoë, i am 22 years old and live in the south of Rotterdam. I grew up in Schiedam (a smaller city right besides Rotterdam) in a house better described as a Zoo. Growing up we always had pets in the house, from cats, dogs and rodents, to Lizards, geckos and frogs. I developed a lot of love for animals and want to share that love! 

I work as a chef in a coffee and lunchroom, cooking is a big passion of mines. I love to try out new recipes and quisines, also am learning to bake (a big challenge but a very rewarding hobby). In my sparetime i like to practise different forms of art, like painting, ceramics and claysculptures. I also love to take photographs, which your pet would benefit from hahaha, i have a good phone camera and love to try out any new picture idea that comes to mind.

More practical information: I am new to this website and am still figuring out what kind of services are most needed. However i have done petsitting in the past, mainly for family and friends and i always enjoyed spending time with other peoples pets. I have experience with more difficult animals aswell, my own cat is a rescue and she struggles with anxiety quite a bit. Also some dogs that i had petsit before we're dogs with behavioural issues and/or physical problems. I have learned ways to cope with different behaviours in pets and know how to act accordingly, without punishment. 

In general i am only available afternoons and evenings, since i work mornings/early afternoons, but on my days off (switching every week) i am available throughout the day, these days are found in my agenda. I am able to help out for shorttime at home stays for about 2-4 hours depending on what is needed (coming by to spend time with your pet, feed them, walk them and groom them when needed) and also i am available for petwalks, i love to walk long ends at a proper pace (on everage i walk a dog 30-45 minutes). An average dogwalk would start with some pets to get comfortable together, long walk around the park or the water on a good day, and end with some snacks and water. During petsitting i love to play around, make time for cuddlemoments and give all the attention needed to the pets. I have thought my childhood dogs a lot of little tricks, such as high fives, rolling, dancing, dabbing up and collecting sticks/balls, if you want your dog to also know some goofy trick, i will put in the work for it! Throughout the day im available by text, i am very attentive to my whatsapp for any updates needed and for emergencies. In any case of emergency my first step is to call the nearest vet, i do not have a drivers license so i am reliable on other people in this scenario.

 If you have any other pet that needs petsitting, this will have to be discussed before hand, but i am open to this under conditions. 

Since i have my own pet, i cannot offer for other pets to stay in my house, since i am not sure how she would react to dogs/cats. I live in the south of rotterdam in a 2 bedroom appartement, with a closed off balcony.
