I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a bunny, when I was 7 or 8 years old. Not long after, my family welcomed a black Poodle into our home, and he stayed with us for 15 wonderful years until he passed away. A few years later, because we simply couldn't imagine life without a dog's company, we adopted a red Poodle — she's still with my family in Taiwan today, and is now almost 19.

All the pets I've raised have been in Taiwan. Since moving abroad at 26, I made the choice not to keep a pet of my own, because I know how much they need consistent companionship, and my lifestyle as an expat didn't allow me to give that. But my love for animals never went away — friends who know me as "the animal lover" often ask me to look after their pets when they travel. Even during the COVID lockdown in Shanghai, a friend of a friend asked me to take in their dog and cat when they were suddenly barred from flying home. I'll always be grateful for their company during that strange, isolating time — they got me through it as much as I looked after them.

What does each service include, and how long does it last?

I offer three services: dog walking, drop-in pet sitting, and overnight stays at the owner's home. I'm happy to tailor the duration and frequency to what each pet needs — from a quick 30-minute walk to a full overnight or multi-day stay while the owner is away.

What kinds of pets do you care for, and which don't suit your setup?

I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including senior pets. I'm also happy to look after other small animals such as ferrets and birds, as long as the owner can walk me through their specific care needs beforehand.

Practical details: home environment, availability, and conditions

I'm currently a master's student based in Rotterdam, also doing an internship on weekdays. Because of that schedule, I'm available for pet sitting on weekday evenings and nights, and for full days on weekends. I'm happy to discuss a schedule that fits around your pet's routine.
