Hi! I'm Lia, a caring and responsible pet sitter who truly loves animals more than anything. While I offer formal pet-sitting servies, my foundation comes from a lifetime of living alongside and caring for pets. Growing up, my home was always filled with animals, whether my two dogs, five cats, three mice, fish, hermit crabs, or my snake, Ziggy. Through these expereinces, I have gained practical familiarity with daily feeding routines, grooming, play, and distinct personalities of both dogs and cats. Additionally, I am comfortable caring for multiple pets at once. 

I have a deep understanding of dogs both through experience and an academic psychology seminar on canine behavior and human-canine bonding, giving me an understanding of canine body language and stress signals. I am confident walking dogs that pull on the leash, have high energy levels, or are reactive around other dogs, ensuring walks remain safe and calm.

Cats have unique boundaries, and I am comfortable caring for the whole spectrum, from shy and timit cats who need patience and space to build trust, to higher-needs cats. I am deeply familiar with cats and their behavior and stress signals, allowing me to understand their needs more completely. And, of course, I adore cats and dogs alike.

The safety, well-being, and happiness of your pets is my top priority. Because of my extensive time around animals, I am able to recognize subtle changes in mood and behavior in both cats and dogs. I strictly follow all house rules and schedules, can administer medication according to your instructions, and am happy to provide frequent photo and video updates when you are away. I treat your home with respect and approach each pet with genuine affection and care. I have a flexible schedule during weekdays and weekends, and I can often accommodate short-notice requests.

Practical Details:

- Dog walking: Includes a walk tailored to the energy level of your dog(s), fresh water top-ups, wiping paws upon return, basic reinforcement of your training routine, and feeding if required.

- Drop-In Visits: Includes food/water replenishment, liter box scopping or accident clean up, toilet breaks, playtime and companionship, and medication administration if required.

- House Sitting/Overnight Care: Full-time care in your home to keep your pets in their familiar enviornment. Includes all dialy feedings, walks, routines, warmth and companionship, basic home care such as bringing in mail or watering plants, and ensuring I leave the house clean and tidy.
