Hi! My name is Mary, and I’m a PhD candidate currently living in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

I truly love cats. I have a cat named Leo who is currently in my home country, and unfortunately I wasn’t able to bring him with me. Caring for him taught me how much trust it takes to leave your cat in someone else’s hands — and I deeply respect that trust.

When I spend time with a cat, my goal is simple: to treat them with the same patience, gentleness, and respect that I would give my own. Every cat has their own personality and comfort zone. Some want quiet company. Some want play and interaction. Some prefer space and soft voices. I take the time to understand what makes your cat feel safe and happy, and I adapt to their individual needs.

Being around cats gives me a deep sense of calm, and I genuinely enjoy their unique personalities — from the playful and curious ones to the quiet observers who just want a cozy spot nearby. For me, cat sitting is not about money; it’s about giving attention, care, and positive energy while their human is away.
