Hi! I’m a medical graduate and biomedical researcher based in Leiden and a proud cat mum to two lovely cats. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals, and caring for them is something that brings me genuine joy. I grew up in a family with dogs, so I’ve been around animals from a young age and have hands-on experience looking after dogs. Now, as a cat mum of two, I’ve also gained plenty of experience understanding feline behaviour, personalities, and daily care needs. One of my cats has required additional medical attention and ongoing care, which has taught me the importance of patience, careful observation, and being attentive to even subtle changes in an animal’s behaviour or well-being. I believe every animal has its own unique personality. Some are energetic and playful, some love cuddles, and others are shy and need a little extra patience to build trust. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. What I offer: I’m happy to care for both cats and dogs in Leiden and nearby areas. For home visits, I can provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, play with your pets, offer companionship, and make sure they’re doing well. I can also help with dog walking, making sure your dog gets exercise, attention, and an enjoyable walk. A typical visit lasts around 30 minutes, but longer visits can be arranged upon request. I’ll always send photos and updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away. If your pet has any special needs, routines, or medical requirements, I’m happy to discuss them beforehand to make sure I can provide appropriate care. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved companions in someone else’s hands. I’ll treat your pets with the same kindness, patience, and attention that I give my own. I’d love to meet you and your furry family members!
