A calm and loving home in Leiden for small/medium dogs and cats with full-time care and lots of personal attention.

Hi! I’m Stefanie, 31, and I live in central part of Leiden with my fiancé. We grew up surrounded by animals, and really miss having pets around, so I decided to start pet sitting. I love spending time with dogs and cats and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

I spend most of my time at home, so your pet will get a lot of attention and won’t be left alone for long periods. My fiancé works part-time, so there is ALWAYS someone at home.

Back home, I adopted a dog from a shelter and also volunteered with rescue animals. I’ve had more than 20 dogs staying with me temporarily before they found their forever homes.🏠🐶

I have an experience giving medication (tablets and injections), but I prefer to do this ONLY with calm and non-aggressive pets.

I usually provide 3 walks per day, including two longer walk of around 40-60minutes and short walk(15–30 minutes) for bathroom break. I always adapt the routine to your dog’s needs, energy level, and daily habits. There are several nice parks nearby, including off-leash areas, so your dog can enjoy active walks, fresh air, and playtime.After each walk, I make sure to clean your dog’s paws.

At the moment, I’m unfortunately not able to offer pick-up and drop-off services, as I don’t have a vehicle. However, if you live within walking distance (up to 1.5 km), I would be happy to pick up and bring back your dog on foot 😊

I will also happily send you regular photo and video updates, so you can feel connected while you’re away.

We live in a quiet apartment with no other pets and no neighbors, just us two . Because the apartment is not very big, I only take one pet at a time and preferably small dogs (up to 15kg). This way I can make sure your pet feels safe, calm, and comfortable in the space.

I’m also happy to take care of cats - whether it’s visits, feeding, or just keeping them company. 🐈

I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I always do my best to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel at home.

Since I’m just starting on Pawshake, my prices are a bit lower for now, but I take the responsibility very seriously and will treat your pet like my own ❤️
