Hello!

I'm Nicole, a young professional living in Leiden, originally from Cork in Ireland. I grew up in the countryside, so being around animals has just always been part of my life. From a young age I was helping out with cats and dogs every day, and I also have experience with horses and goats, so I’m very comfortable with animals big and small, shy or confident.

I really enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their little personalities. I’m calm, patient, and easygoing, and I always try to make sure pets feel relaxed, safe, and cared for. I am comfortable with all typical pet tasks from walking, feeding, grooming, playing and medicine administration as needed. I'm available for 30min- 1 hr walks and can cater to your dogs energy levels. I am very active with communication, and always happy to send updates on your pet. I’m calm, patient, and easygoing, and I always try to adjust my approach depending on the dog. If a dog is nervous, I go slowly and give them space to build trust. If they’re energetic, I’m happy to match that with structured play and longer walks. With more excitable or strong dogs, I stay consistent with commands and routines so walks stay controlled but still enjoyable.

On walks, I focus a lot on safety and awareness, especially in urban areas like Leiden. I keep dogs secure, stay alert to traffic, cyclists, and other dogs, and avoid risky situations by planning routes that suit each individual dog’s comfort level.
