In recent years I’ve often looked after friends’ dogs when they travel. It’s something I genuinely enjoy. Their dogs are comfortable with me, and my friends know they can rely on me. The walks, the routines, and the time spent with their dogs never feel like a task. They’re moments I look forward to.
It made me realise that I don’t want to wait for my friends to go on their next holiday before spending time with dogs again. I’d like to meet dogs in my area, get to know their habits, and give them regular, enjoyable walks.
