A home away from home for your furry friend

Hi! I’m Vojdan. I grew up around animals and have had dogs and cats around for most of my life, so having them around has always felt pretty natural to me.

I’ve had both bigger and smaller breeds, dogs of different ages, and quite a few different personalities to deal with along the way.

One thing I particularly like about dogs is how different they can be, almost like people. Some are full of energy and want to explore everything, others are happy just lying next to you, and some need a little more patience before they feel comfortable. Getting to know their personalities and figuring out what works for them is something I genuinely enjoy.

My availability

I work a regular 9-to-5, but luckily I get to work from home most of the time. I’m also quite flexible with my office days, so I can usually plan around having a dog staying with me.

That means your dog will have someone around for most of the day, rather than spending hours waiting for you to come back.

What I offer

I’m happy to look after dogs of different sizes and ages, whether they’re staying overnight or just need someone to take them for a walk.

For walks, I’d normally aim for around 30–60 minutes, but this really depends on the dog. Some are happy with a relaxed walk around the neighbourhood, while others have enough energy to keep going for another hour. I’m happy to adjust depending on what they’re used to.

When staying at my place, I’ll make sure they have their usual walks, meals, playtime and somewhere comfortable to relax. I don’t have a dog of my own at the moment, so they’ll have my attention without having to share it with another pet.

I’ve also grown up with cats, so I’m comfortable looking after them too, whether that’s feeding, cleaning the litter box or just keeping them company.

Safety & comfort

I know that every dog has their own habits and routines, and I’d rather learn those than suddenly change everything just because they’re staying somewhere new.

Before looking after your pet, I’d like to know the basics: what they’re used to eating, how they behave around other dogs, whether they have any medical needs, and any little quirks I should know about.

I’m also careful with things like letting dogs off the leash. Unless we’ve discussed it and I’m confident it’s safe, I’d rather keep them on the leash.

Since I’m home most days, your dog won’t usually be left alone for long periods. And if I do need to go somewhere, I’ll make sure we’ve discussed it beforehand.

I’m always happy to arrange a meet & greet before booking.

I think it’s nice to meet in person, let your dog get familiar with me, and have a chat about what they’re like and what they’re used to. It’s also a good chance for you to ask questions and see if you feel comfortable leaving them with me.

At the end of the day, I want your dog to have a good time while you’re away, and for you to be able to enjoy your trip or get on with your day without worrying about them.
