I have always loved animals and have wanted a dog for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I begged my parents for years to let me have a dog. Before I was finally allowed to have one, I had to prove I could take care of pets by looking after fish so I definitely learned early on that having an animal is a responsibility, not just a fun experience. Eventually, I got my wonderful dog Nanouk, who I loved so, so much. She was a very important part of my life, and taking care of her made me realise just how much I enjoy spending time with animals. I also volunteered at a dog shelter, where I helped walk and care for dogs with different personalities and energy levels.

I would be happy to care for dogs (and cats if they need walks), as well aspossible other small pets. I can offer walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and general care during visits. For walks, I am happy to adapt the pace and distance to the dog's age, energy level, and needs rather than taking every dog on the same type of walk.

I am patient, caring, and attentive, and I understand that every animal has its own personality and routine. I will always do my best to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you are away. I would also be happy to follow specific instructions about feeding, walks, medication, or routines.

My ultimate dream is to have my own dog again one day, so until then, I would absolutely love the opportunity to spend time with yours!
