Hi! I'm Ada. I'm 24, and I'm a Master's student from Turkey. I'm doing my Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience here in Amsterdam. I've grown up with pets my entire childhood. For as long as I can remember we have had cats, and now I have a dog who I love more than anything, a Samoyed (Lumi) who's been with us for 6 years. Taking care of pets and even just being around them fills my cup, and if I could spend every day doing so I would be the happiest. I moved to Amsterdam from Turkey for education purposes and really miss having the company of a fur friend. My dog was a very active breed, so I'm very used to doing multiple short/long walks a day, enrichment activities and play time so she would be her happiest and healthiest. I also really enjoy rest time with lots of pets, whether that be at your house where your pet's most comfortable or at my place.

I can administer any medication orally, and I'm happy to offer some very basic training and go over any commands your pet knows daily/however frequently you want. I can also groom long coated dogs and cats. I'm happy to board as many pets as you have at the same time, but ideally I would like to keep it to 2-3 so I can spend enough time taking care of each of them individually! My dog walks range from short walks (15 minutes) to an hour, so however long you prefer can be discussed. I can offer two to three walks a day depending on my availability, but at least one long walk (so an hour) or two short walks a day are guaranteed if I'm house sitting your pet or your pet's staying with me.

On average, I can spend almost all day/night with your pet, so they won't be left alone for longer than an hour at a time. I can adjust my availability for work around the sits I have scheduled as I'm a master's student writing my first year thesis.

I am the only one living in my home, it's a student flat of around 30m2s. If you prefer your pet to stay with me, I have ample space to take their pet bed/blanket/toys so they feel comfortable, but they are also welcome to sleep in my bed, on my couch, on the carpet -- wherever they feel most comfortable! I live in Amsterdam Oost, and right next to Frankandael Park, which has a gated area for dogs to be off leash and lots of pathways for long walks. I also live about a 15 minute walk from Oosterpark.

P.S.: Due to the limited space in my home (about 30m2s) I believe it's a good fit only for cats or smaller breed dogs.
