I regularly dog-sit my brother’s dog, Wilma, a very sweet grandma bulldog/pitbull mix whom he rescued from a shelter. She looks a little scary, but she is the biggest sweetheart! Looking after her made me realise just how much I enjoy having a dog around: going for walks, giving lots of attention, and simply having some animal company at home.

I also love cats. When I was in my early twenties and living in a student dorm, I had a cat of my own, Boellie. These days, I regularly look after my neighbour’s cat when she is on holiday, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats.

I’m calm, responsible and communicative, and I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable in my care. I work from home, so I can spend a lot of time with your pet and supervise them throughout the day. I’m available most days from Monday to Thursday. During dog boarding, pets won’t be left alone for longer than 3 hours, and during daycare, no longer than 1 hour.

I can board a maximum of two dogs at a time. Dogs get up to three walks per day if needed, with walks of around 30 minutes or shorter. They can sleep in their own basket in my living room. I live with two friends who both work at locations, so the apartment is generally quiet during the day. I also have a balcony; dogs are welcome on it unless they are very small, and when caring for a cat, I will always keep the balcony door closed to make sure they cannot escape.
