It’s wonderful to meet you! I’m Kate, and I’ve been living in Amsterdam for several years now. I work in IT, but dog sitting has become one of the greatest sources of joy in my life.

Dogs have always been my passion. About a year ago, I discovered how much I love spending quality time with them and training them. While I don’t yet have a dog of my own (still waiting for the perfect match), I’ve regularly cared for friends’ dogs, accumulating about eight week-long stays last year. This experience has made me a dedicated and confident dog sitter.

A few months ago, I completed a shadowing program at Nero Dog Training, where I assisted with group classes and gained valuable experience working with various breeds. I’m also attending a dog training school, focusing on positive reinforcement methods.

Here’s what you and your dog can expect with me:

1. Undivided Attention: When your dog stays with me, they are my priority.
2. Balanced Schedules: I only accept dogs when I can ensure they won’t be alone for more than four hours a day (and not every day).
3. Plenty of Walks: Three daily walks are standard, with an option for a fourth upon discussion.
4. Positive Reinforcement Only: I use a kind and reward-based approach to care and training.
5. Respect for Your Instructions: Your preferences and routines will be followed meticulously—no judgment, just care.
6. A Wonderful Stay: Your dog will enjoy love, care, and attention, letting you travel with peace of mind.
7. Support for Challenges: I’m open to taking with dogs with behavioral issues, though each case will need to be discussed individually.
