My name is Harriot, I'm 28, and I work for an NGO here in The Hague.

I grew up with dogs, mainly energetic breeds like Border Collies, so long walks, training, and keeping active have always been part of life. I really miss having a dog around, but because I travel occasionally for work, I can't commit to having one of my own right now. Instead, I love welcoming dogs into my home and giving them plenty of attention, care, and companionship while their owners are away.

I only offer boarding for one dog at a time, so your dog will always have my full attention in a calm, relaxed environment. I live with my partner, and we don't have children or other pets, making our home a peaceful place, particularly for dogs who appreciate a quieter setting.

I'm experienced with nervous and more sensitive dogs and always take the time to let them settle at their own pace. Every dog is different, and I adapt my approach to suit their personality and routine.

Although we don't have a garden, we're surrounded by fantastic green spaces, including Haagse Bos, where your dog can enjoy plenty of walks, sniffing, and outdoor time every day.

I have a flexible work schedule and regularly work from home. My office is also only a short distance away, so even on office days I can easily come home at lunchtime for walks, toilet breaks, and company. Your dog won't be left alone for long periods.

I know how important consistency is, so I'll do my best to maintain your dog's normal routine while they're staying with me. Let me know the rules they follow at home, whether they're allowed on the sofa, where they sleep, their walking routine, feeding schedule, or any other habits you'd like me to keep. I want them to feel as comfortable and secure as possible during their stay.

I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for. My phone is always with me should you need to get in touch.
