Hi! I’m a huge animal lover and I genuinely feel most at home around pets. I work, but I love animals so much that I want to spend more of my free time with them — and pet sitting feels like the perfect way to do that while also helping other pet owners feel relaxed and supported.

I grew up with dogs, so I’ve been around pets my whole life and I’m very comfortable with everyday routines like feeding, walks, playtime, basic grooming (like brushing), and keeping a calm, safe environment. Over the years I’ve been around dogs with very different personalities — from energetic, playful “let’s go!” types who need longer walks and mental stimulation, to gentle, calm dogs who prefer a slower pace, shorter walks, and lots of quiet companionship. I understand that some dogs are naturally social and confident, while others can be shy, cautious, or reactive at first — and I always take the time to earn their trust rather than rush them.

I’m also a proud cat owner, so I know cats can have very individual temperaments and boundaries. I’m used to everything from affectionate cats who love attention, to independent cats who prefer to observe first and come to you when they’re ready. I’m comfortable with cat routines like feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, interactive play, and making sure they feel safe in their space. I also pay attention to subtle behavior cues — for example, signs of stress, overstimulation, or a cat needing more quiet time — and I adjust my approach accordingly.

In general, I’m good at reading animals and their body language. I’m patient, gentle, and consistent, and I respect each pet’s personality. Some pets love cuddles, some prefer play, and some just want someone calm nearby — I’m happy to meet them where they are. If your pet is anxious when you’re away, I can keep things calm and predictable. If they’re high-energy, I can provide structured play and activity (within your rules). If they’re shy, I’ll take a slow, reassuring approach and never force interaction.

One important note: I’m not comfortable handling all medical conditions or complex care needs. However, this is definitely up for discussion. If your pet needs medication or has specific requirements, please tell me upfront and we can talk through what’s needed so we can decide together if it’s a good fit. I’ll always be honest about what I can confidently handle, because your pet’s safety and comfort come first.
