Hi there! I'm Yaiza, and I've been passionate about caring for animals my entire life. Growing up with pets, I've always had a special bond with both dogs and cats. Back in Barcelona, I had a beloved dog whom I took care of until I moved to the Netherlands, and I truly missed that connection. That’s when I decided to pursue petsitting, so I could share my love and care for animals with others.

Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after both dogs and cats in the local area, offering a reliable and caring service. My partner and I live in Amsterdam West in a cozy 60-square-meter apartment, where it’s just the two of us. We’ve been together for five years and have created a peaceful, pet-friendly space, complete with a fenced balcony for extra safety. Pets are always allowed to sleep inside, ensuring their comfort at all times.

When it comes to care, I believe in providing undivided attention to your furry friend. I only take care of one dog or cat at a time to ensure they get the love and focus they deserve. Both my partner and I primarily work from home, so we’re available throughout the day to look after your pet. Whether it’s playtime, snuggling, or going for walks, we’ll be here to make sure your pet feels at ease and loved.

If your dog stays with us, we’ll provide plenty of exercise and fun. We take dogs on walks multiple times a day—20–30 minutes in the morning, another short walk after lunch, a longer one-hour walk in the afternoon, and a final 20-minute outing at night. If I’m looking after your dog at your home, I offer two walks per day, tailored to your dog’s routine and needs.

During the week, we’re always home except for brief trips to the gym 2–3 times a week, which only last about an hour and are close by. On weekends, we mostly relax at home, so your pet will never feel lonely or bored.
