Hi, I’m Derya ✨Half Turkish, half Kiwi, and a full-time marketeer living in Amsterdam (Plantage).

I’m not a professional pet sitter by trade, but I am someone who has been deeply captivated by animals my whole life. I’m endlessly fascinated by how they move through the world, how deeply they feel, and how naturally they remind us to slow down. Friends like to call me a bit of a cat whisperer -I seem to befriend almost every cat I meet (and yes… sometimes I may prefer them to people).

At home, I’m a cat mum to two sensitive Ragdolls, Sierra & Zeus. Living with them has taught me gentleness, patience, and the importance of meeting animals exactly where they are. I’m especially comfortable with shy, cautious, or sensitive cats and dogs, always respecting their boundaries, routines, and need for space.

🐾Services I Offer: Cat Sitting & House Visits

Standard visits are around 30 minutes

If a cat is shy or prefers minimal interaction, I may keep visits shorter to reduce stress - while always ensuring food, water, litter, and wellbeing are fully taken care of. If your cat needs extra socialisation, playtime, or simply someone to be quietly present with them, I’m very happy to adjust my visit times.

Gentle handling, clear communication, reliability, and full respect for your home are non-negotiables for me.

🗓 Availability

I work a hybrid schedule, which allows for consistent and reliable availability:

Work From Home: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
→ Available for longer daytime stays and extended companionship

Office Days: Tuesday & Thursday (9:00–17:00)
→ Available evenings, and house sitting that allows for a daytime gap

Weekends: Available on request

I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before booking, so we can meet in person and your fluff babies can get comfortable with me first 🐱🐶
