I am Chrysa, I'm 28 and I am originally from Greece. I moved to Amsterdam in 2019 and I am working as a Software Engineer. I am currently studying for my B2 level exam in Dutch so feel free to help me practice by messaging me in Dutch! 🇳🇱

I originally moved here for an internship but I fell in love with the city so I decided to stay, and the number one thing that made me love Amsterdam so much was all the parks and the people in them! I loved that I could just go and sit at a park for hours and pet so many dogs and meet so many people (usually dog owners) almost every day 🐾

Since I am still renting, it is hard for me to get my own dog yet, even though I am planning to as soon as I find a place that allows it! My love for dogs is still there though (especially Shibas and Greyhounds/Whippets), so I decided to do some pet sitting, it is a great alternative so far! 🦴

My dad has had many hound dogs as I was growing up, which I have helped train over the years, and I have spent quite some time dog sitting my friends' dogs (some of them you can see in my pictures). I am patient and loving, and also very active so I definitely don't mind spending a weekend with a dog who LOVES the park. I also don't mind cuddling with them in my bed or on my couch while I'm reading or watching a show if they're in the mood for a relaxing day 😴 

I prefer to spend time with well trained dogs without too many behavioral issues, in order for them to be safe and feel comfortable. I would also like to meet the dog (and their owner) beforehand and try to spend some time with them to make sure we are all happy, comfortable and we all like each other's smell 😆❤️
