Hello,

My name is Maria, I’m 27 years old and I moved to Amsterdam in July of 2022 to work in the field of Digital Marketing. I am from Portugal, so I speak fluently Portuguese and English, and I’m also waiting for the start date of the Dutch classes at my office. Currently, I do not have any pets here. However, at my parents’ house, in Portugal, we have two dogs (Maggie & Mia), that I miss every single day. Throughout my life, I have had a rabbit, fishes, turtles, dogs, and a cat.

I decided to apply to be a pet sitter because I really enjoy to be around animals, especially dogs. I feel so much happier and anxiety-free when I have an animal around.

The services that I can provide are dog walkings and house sitting in the owners' house.

On the dog walkings, I am able to provide the animal with as much outside time as necessary. Minimum 30 minutes walk.

In a house-sitting situation, I want for you to know that I will treat your place the same way I would like for other people to treat mine. I’ll respect your home and you will see that I’ll maintain everything in the same condition it has been left in. If needed, I can water your plants, be at home to receive any package, or any other thing you need while I'm taking care of your lovely pet(s). Also, I work from the office 2 times a week (Monday & Wednesday), but I can ask to work only the morning or the afternoon so I can be more time with your pet, if needed.
