My name is Vivian, and I’d love to take care of your pet! Animals have always had a special place in my heart and bring me so much happiness. Spending time with them, getting to understand their personalities, and making them feel safe and loved is one of the most fulfilling parts of my day.

I’ve raised my own Golden Retriever from puppyhood, so I have plenty of hands-on experience with training, discipline, and understanding dog behavior. He’s taught me a lot about patience, communication, and how different dogs respond to different types of care and affection. Along with dogs, I’ve also taken care of cats, ensuring they feel comfortable and enriched in my presence. Over time, I’ve learned how to read animal body language and respond calmly and kindly to different temperaments.

My Daily Routine with Pets

I work flexibly from home, which means I’ll be available throughout the day to give your pet lots of attention and care. Each day is shaped around your pet’s routine and energy level, but a typical day with me might look like: Morning walk or potty break to start the day right; Breakfast, followed by light play or quiet snuggle time; Stimulating activities like playtime in the park, walks around the neighborhood, or enrichment games indoors; And make sure pets get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love; whether that’s an extra game of fetch, a longer walk, or simple one-on-one time.

Home Environment & Safety

At home, your pet will find a clean, safe, and cozy environment. There’s enough space for pets to stretch out, play, or just rest comfortably. I make sure the space is free from hazards and always keep supervised playtime when pets are interacting. Pets are free to roam and explore areas of the home that are safe for them, but I also create calm, separate areas if a pet needs downtime or space.

I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and personality; a shy or anxious animal might need extra reassurance and quiet time, while a high-energy dog might enjoy more activity and engagement. I also stick to your pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, walking schedules, crate or bed preferences, or any house training rules you’ve been reinforcing.

Puppies, Seniors & Special Needs

I’m very comfortable with puppies and understand how demanding they can be. Whether it’s frequent potty breaks, chewing behavior, or early training, I’m patient and happy to follow whatever structure you’ve been working on at home. I also have experience dealing with dogs with behavioural problems so there is no restriction on the type of dog I will care for. I also give extra care to senior pets or pets with unique needs; whether that’s helping with medication, offering soft bedding, or creating a calmer, slower-paced environment.

I’m based in Amsterdam but since I'm frequently Den Haag so If pick up and drop of services are needed there I can help with that. I’d love to meet your pet and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well looked after while you’re away :)

I'm living with my golden retriever dog who is super friendly, good with puppies and very calm and patient towards dogs with behavioural problems. He is very social and friendly but also knows how to take a step back if he notices nervousness in another dog. So if you're worried about this, I also have no issue taking extra precautions to keep your pet and my dog separated.

Vaccinated pets is mandatory.
