I'm Rachel, 25 years old, and I came to Amsterdam for my studies 5 years ago and ended up loving the city and staying! I live next to Rembrantpark and catsit in the surrounding areas in West like Bolo, Slotervaart and de Baarsjes.

I'm Finnish-American and lived in Finland for most of my life. My family had our cat for about 10 years back home in Helsinki. I have experience in caring for different types of cats, with health issues as well, my own cat had a heart condition and epilepsy for which I administered medication.

I have had cats my whole life and am an avid cat lover! I always find my way back to cats somehow :) After moving abroad and no longer being close to my own cat, I took up cat sitting alongside my studies to be able to spend time with cats and to make some extra money as a student. Now my work is hybrid so I'm flexible to catsit for short periods of time or seasonally for holidays etc.

Having been around cats in some way my whole life, and being a cat lady, I've learned a lot about cats from experience, research and patience. I've been catsitting in Amsterdam for around 5 years and have clients who have trusted me for 2+ years.

So whether your cat is a stubborn little kitty or a total lap cat I'll be happy to help nonetheless! :)

As part of my catsitting service I:

- of course do the basics - feed, change water, clean litter box

- keep your cat company and play with your cat (if they're interested), spending at least 30 minutes with them per visit (1 or 2 daily visits)

- send you daily picture updates of your cat

- adapt to you and your cat's specific needs
