Dog walks, cuddles & lots of attention 🐾

I’m an Amsterdam-based dog owner and animal lover. I work mostly from home as an account manager, so Pawshake is a perfect excuse for me to get away from my desk, get outside and spend even more of my day with animals.

I grew up in a house that was basically a little animal kingdom — dogs, cats, ducks and geese all living together. Animals were constantly around me growing up, and I loved it. These days I have my rescue dog, Willy, who is a huge part of my life, but I definitely miss having a whole collection of animals around me every day!

Living with a rescue dog has also taught me a lot about how different every animal can be. Some dogs want to sniff every single tree on a walk, some have endless energy, some need a little extra patience and reassurance, and some would happily spend the afternoon cuddling on the sofa. I’m happy to follow their lead.

What your pet can expect from me 🐶

Lots of walks, sniffing time, play, cuddles and attention! I offer 30-minute dog walks and home visits, and I’m happy to stick to whatever routine makes your pet happiest. If they know a few tricks, we can practice those too — and maybe even learn a new one. :)

For home visits, I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I can feed your pet, refresh their water, give medication according to your instructions, play with them and, most importantly, actually spend time with them rather than simply popping in and out.
