Moved to the Netherlands around 2.5 years ago for work. Desperate for my own dog but can’t yet commit to anything with crazy rent prices 🤪

Since I’ve been a wee (small) meisje I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐕 Photo evidence included of me hardly containing my excitement.

Anyway, fast forward, what can I do for you!? I can walk, pop in, dog sit at your home, all depending on the weekly schedule. Let’s chat! 😏

I am a hybrid worker who regularly works from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday - Monday & Wed I already walk a gorgeous labradoodle on my lunch break. I also have a dog friendly office if you have a sociable dog, they can come make friends! Otherwise I love nothing more than a big walk at the weekend in Vondelpark or Westerpark.

I can be fairly flexible if given a few days notice so please feel free to reach out to me.

On the days I work from home, I can offer doggy day care either in my home (if the dog can handle 4 flights of Dutch stairs) or at your home. I have an additional service to pick up and drop off. This is not guaranteed but let's chat and see how I can help if needed.

I have looked after friends/ family dogs throughout my teenage years. In my early twenties I was the go-to caller for my boss and her family to have a trusted dog lover looking after their furry friends. I have experience with mostly small and medium dogs (due to my 155cm stature 👧). Westies, Jack Russels, Labradors, Schnauzers, Daschunds, French Bulldogs, pitbull mixes, medium build beautiful melting pots of dogs. I know and love them all!

I’m a big advocate for letting dogs sniff and sniff and sniff. There are multiple studies confirming even 20mins of sniffing is equal to a 1hr walk. Enough to tire your dog out and leave them happy and fulfilled. We can play ball if that’s their thing. I can ignite the zoomies and chase them round the park. If they’re social dogs I can take them to dog parks for some friend time. Please let me know if there are any quirks, fun tips, things they like/ dislike so I’m fully prepared for anything. Their walking temperament and social attitude is good to know for on/ off lead walks. Do you like to keep them to heel, should I be strict or chill? Just let me know!

I have a slight preference to dogs but can check in on your cat if they're in a dog household.
I know when I had a dog, I just wanted to see photos of them chilling anytime I was away so you'll have updates throughout their time with me!
