Hello! My name is Loredana, I’m originally from Italy and currently living in Zaandam, while working in Amsterdam Central.

I’ve always had a strong connection with animals and a natural instinct to take care of them. Back home in Italy, I have two dogs, one small and one large, so I’m very comfortable around pets of different sizes, personalities and energy levels.

I also have experience with cats. I’ve taken care of my friends’ cats several times while they were away, so I’m familiar with their needs, routines and more independent personalities too.

Pet sitting is something I do with genuine joy. Spending time with animals makes me feel good, and I love building a bond with them while making sure they feel safe, loved and relaxed.

I’m available to take care of your pet at your home, as I’m currently not able to host animals at mine.

What I can offer:

- Daily walks, usually around 30 to 60 minutes depending on your dog’s needs and energy level

- Pet sitting at your home

- Playtime, cuddles and companionship

- Feeding and medication if needed

- Photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing

I always follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walking habits, house rules and any special instructions. With anxious or shy pets, I’m patient and gentle, giving them the time and space they need to feel comfortable with me. I never force interaction and I always try to understand their body language.

During walks, I pay close attention to the pet’s behavior, especially around other dogs, people, traffic or busy areas. I always keep dogs on the lead unless the owner specifically asks otherwise and it is safe to do so.

If anything unexpected happens, I will contact the owner immediately and follow their instructions. In case of an emergency, I would make sure the pet gets help as quickly as possible and keep the owner updated at all times.

A typical pet sitting day with me includes walks or playtime, feeding, fresh water, company, cuddles if your pet enjoys them, and regular updates for you. If I need to be away from the home for a short time, I will always make sure your pet is safe, comfortable and has everything they need before I leave.

I’m also careful and respectful when staying in someone’s home, and I always make sure everything is left clean and as I found it.

I’m available during the week and on weekends, even on short notice.
