Hello! I am a British, Interior Architect who has been living in Amsterdam for the past six years with my Husband. I have always felt a natural connection with animals, and pet sitting allows me to turn that passion into something meaningful. As the owner of a healthy, fully vaccinated four-year-old blue whippet, I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care.

Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — from playful puppies to more senior dogs who require a gentler pace and extra patience. I am comfortable handling shy or nervous dogs and those who may need a little more structure or reassurance in new environments. I always take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and individual needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.

Safety, calm introductions, and supervision are extremely important to me. When introducing new dogs, I do so gradually and carefully in a neutral, controlled way, paying close attention to body language and compatibility before allowing full interaction. During daycare, I only care for a maximum of two dogs at a time to ensure every dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. Dogs are never left unsupervised together, and I maintain a calm home environment designed to reduce stress and overstimulation.

A typical daycare day includes structured walks, playtime, rest periods, affection, and quiet time so dogs can settle comfortably. Daily walks range from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and routine. I also follow feeding schedules, medication requirements, and any training or behavioural guidance provided by owners to keep consistency and comfort for your pet.

I understand that some dogs may experience anxiety when left alone, so I keep absences to an absolute minimum. Dogs in my care are typically never left alone for more than 1 hour at most, and I always ensure they are settled, safe, and comfortable before stepping out if necessary.

My home is kept clean, secure, and dog-friendly, with careful attention paid to potential hazards. I ensure doors and windows are secure, unsafe foods or objects are kept out of reach, and dogs always have access to fresh water and comfortable resting spaces. Walks are always done on secure leads and I remain highly attentive in busy outdoor environments.

For emergencies, I am familiar with a local vet just a 5-minute walk away, as well as an emergency clinic within a 10-minute drive, ensuring quick and confident action if ever needed. Above all, I aim to provide loving, reliable, and attentive care so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.
