I’ve spent more than 25 years surrounded by animals, and I lived with a young female puppy for over a year. This taught me how to follow daily routines, walks, feeding schedules, and how to support a dog’s emotional needs.

I’m attentive, calm and patient — I understand different temperaments, from energetic and playful to sensitive or shy dogs. I love spending time outdoors, playing, providing structure, and helping pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away.

Beyond dogs, I also have lifelong experience with cats and general animal behaviour, which helps me adapt quickly to any pet’s needs. My goal is always the same: to make sure your dog feels happy, cared for and understood. 

About cats: I’ve lived with cats literally since the day I was born — one of our family stories is that our cat Betsy triggered my mother’s labour by jumping onto her belly. Growing up with cats taught me to read their micro-signals, moods and needs: when they want space, comfort, food, play or reassurance.

I’ve raised and cared for multiple cats throughout my life, including anxious, shy and even aggressive ones. I understand how to safely approach stressed or traumatised cats, administer medication, maintain litter hygiene, support routines, and provide calm, gentle companionship.

I’m comfortable caring for cats in their home or hosting them in mine, and I always adapt to each cat’s unique personality. Cats are my deep, lifelong love.

Before a booking, I’d love to know your pet’s full routine and any special needs. Please share feeding times, walking preferences, energy level, triggers (fearful behaviours, reactivity, separation anxiety), and how they communicate stress. If your pet has any medical conditions, allergies, or needs medication, I’ll follow your instructions carefully—so details matter. I have no breed preferences and I’m happy with all kinds of pets, as long as expectations are clear. 

A typical day with me is calm, structured, and tailored to your pet’s routine. I work from home, so your pet gets regular attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. For dogs, we’ll do walks in the neighbourhood and nearby parks, with plenty of sniffing and mental stimulation. At home, I include gentle games, basic enrichment, and quiet rest time in between. For cats, I follow their rhythm—play sessions, cuddles if they want them, and plenty of space when they don’t. I always prioritize comfort, safety, and a stress-free atmosphere.
