Hey there! My name is Johanna, I am a 34-year-old healthcare researcher. I come from the land of 1000 lakes and as many forests (in which I miss hiking greatly), Finland, but have lived in the Netherlands for 13 years already; first studying in Groningen and now working in Amsterdam. (Dus ik spreek een beetje Nederlands).

I wanted to become a pet sitter to alleviate my own "dog-fever" and because I miss being around animals a lot. I have flexible working hours but my life can get quite busy so I am not able to have my own pet full-time at the moment. My own doggy, Jeppe, a fox terrier, passed away after living a long (13 years) and good life. I have great pet-sitting skills because of growing up with them and training an extremely stubborn (yet so loving and loyal) dog like my own. Besides dogs, I have a lot of experience with cats and absolutely adore the feline energy. I love cuddling, playing and walking animals and never really get tired of being around them.

I will walk your pets, take them for runs, wash them if they get dirty, feed and play with them when you cannot be around your furry friends! I am a joyful, reliable and responsible person who loves being around animals. I think being consistent and patient is very important when training animals. I will respect your rules and wishes when I am around your pets.
