Hi! I’m Lana, based in Amsterdam, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by pets and lived with animals until I was 20.

Later, my close friend had a dog for 10 years, and I spent a lot of time with him, walking him and taking care of him on my own when needed. My grandmother currently has two senior Dachshunds, and I also help look after them, including walks, feeding, keeping them company and basic grooming. This has made me especially patient and comfortable with older dogs and their needs.

I offer dog walking, home visits, doggy day care and house sitting at the owner’s home. Walks are usually around 30 minutes, but I’m happy to adapt the length and pace to your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine. If your dog needs longer or more frequent walks, that’s absolutely fine too.

During home visits, I can feed your pet, refresh their water, play with them, clean the litter box and, most importantly, give them attention and company. For house sitting, I can stay with your pet in their familiar environment and follow their normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime and rest.

For doggy day care, your dog will stay with me in my apartment and have plenty of attention and company throughout the day. I’m currently available during the day, so I can supervise your dog closely and spend the whole day with them. If your dog loves being active, we can go for several walks throughout the day.

At home, dogs are free to move around the apartment - I don’t use cages or crates. I have a comfortable armchair and plenty of soft pillows and cosy places where they can relax and sleep. I only offer daytime care and do not provide overnight stays.

Safety is very important to me. I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding food, medication, walking, behaviour and interactions with other animals. I never let a dog off leash unless we have specifically agreed on it beforehand. I’m also happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day.

Before the first booking, I prefer to meet you and your pet so I can learn about their personality, habits and needs and make sure they feel comfortable with me.
