My name is Ekin, and I'm your purr-fect cat sitter.

Originally from Turkiye (the country famous for its cat-loving people), I've been living in the Netherlands with my wonderful husband since February 2023. My journey with animals began long before my move to the Netherlands. Growing up, I developed a huge love for all creatures great and small. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless cats of all ages and personalities — both in Turkiye and here in the Netherlands. This includes rescued and adopted cats, senior cats (15+), cats with special medical needs, very shy or fearful cats, and highly playful bundles of energy.

Thanks to nearly 7 years of hands-on experience, I understand their language, their needs, and their quirks. Even the most timid or anxious cats tend to feel safe and comfortable around me, often warming up and seeking affection at their own pace. My passion has always gravitated towards our feline friends, and I know how to engage each cat in a way that suits their unique character.

My bond with cats goes beyond just feeding and cuddling. I know how to engage them in playful activities that bring out their joy. Whether it's dangling a feather wand or playing fetch (yes, some cats love fetch — my boy Biber included!), I've mastered the art of keeping our whiskered companions entertained. 

Before starting any service, I always arrange a short meet & greet at your home to get to know you and your cat. This helps us see if our chemistry is a good fit — and so far, I’ve never met a cat (or owner!) who didn’t like me.

When you’re away, I provide personalized in-home visits to ensure your cat is happy, healthy, and loved. Each visit lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour, during which I:

-Refresh food and water, and give wet food or special meals upon request

-Administer any necessary medications

-Clean the litter box

-Play with your cat and give plenty of cuddles and affection

-Take and send lots of photos and videos so you can feel close and at ease while away

I always follow your specific instructions and make sure your cat’s basic needs, love, and playtime are fully taken care of before I leave. You’ll also receive a message every time I arrive and leave your home for peace of mind.

Regrettably, I'm unable to host cats in my home. However, I'm more than happy to provide top-notch, personalized care for your beloved feline in the comfort of their own home. Your cat will feel safe and content in familiar surroundings while you’re away.
