About Me

Hi! I’m Julia, a 20-year-old student living in Almere. Because my studies allow for a very flexible schedule, I have plenty of free time and energy to dedicate to your furry friends. I’m currently saving up for my tuition, and since I can’t have a dog of my own right now due to occasional travel, pet sitting is the perfect way for me to share my home and heart with animals!

My Experience & Motivation

I have been surrounded by pets since I was a child. Growing up with both a cat and a dog, I learned early on how to read their different "languages." One of my proudest achievements was successfully socialising my cat and dog to live in harmony, a process that required a lot of patience, calm energy, and an understanding of animal boundaries.

Beyond my own pets, I have years of experience walking my relatives' dogs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs to run or a shy dog who needs a gentle leader, I am comfortable adapting to different personalities. I’m not just a "sitter", I’m someone who genuinely enjoys the bond that comes from a long walk and a good play session.

I live right near Oostvaarders Station, which is a dream location for dogs! We are minutes away from incredible green spaces and the edges of the Oostvaardersplassen. My "adventure walks" take place in these expansive, quiet areas where your dog can truly explore. Also my neighborhood is peaceful and pet-friendly, with plenty of room to roam away from heavy city traffic.

To ensure the highest level of safety and care, I only host one pet at a time.

Morning: A fresh morning walk followed by breakfast and mental stimulation (like treat puzzles).

Afternoon: Our signature "Adventure Walk" through the local nature paths.

Full Attention: Since I am a student with a flexible routine, your dog will rarely be alone. They will have my undivided attention for cuddles, play, and supervision.

Safety & Communication

Safety is my priority. I always use a leash during walks unless we are in a securely fenced-in area. I know how much you’ll miss your pet, so I love sending regular "pupdates" with photos and videos of our day so you can see how much fun they’re having!

I only accept vaccinated pets to keep everyone safe and healthy. I can't wait to meet your companion and give them a fun, stress-free stay!
